Duties:
· Fulfil a basic level technically & software support role for internal users
· Provide telephonic support to clients
· Logging all incoming calls on the relevant logging system (training will be provided)
· Closing calls and reporting to client and management as and when required.
· Escalating calls to programmers and implementers
· Follow up with programmers and implementers to provide clients with feedback
· Take ownership of client issues until resolution
· Obtain an in-depth understanding of the infrastructure installations at all sites
· Asset Management ( training will be provided )
· Assist with network upgrades
· Testing of enhancements, fixes and new releases
· Building and repairing pc’s
Skills
· Hardware knowledge
· Attention to detail
· Knowledge of website structure and html
· Knowledge of exchange server ( advantage )
· Excellent communication skills and telephonic demeanour
· Matric certificate
· Own Transport and License
· Ability to investigate, identify and solve problems quickly and efficiently Logical approach to work
· Ability to understand and communicate with a wide variety of people, especially clients
· Active interest in maintaining personal technical skills and knowledge
· Ability to accept responsibility
· Ability to perform well in a pressured environment
