The incumbent with be responsible toplan, direct and lead all bid management activities within Sales to ensure order entry achievement by submitting professional proposals to current and potential clients.
Education and experience required:
- Grade 12 or Equivalent
- At least 5 – 7 years Bid Management / Project Management experience
- 3 – 5 years’ experience in leadership of technical teams

Key areas of responsibility
- To support sales opportunities aligned to the company’s strategy.
- To lead an effective Bid Management Team within Consulting and Solution Sales that will be able to support all bid management objectives and activities in order to achieve targets within the local Sales strategy.
- To implement and maintain effective processes and procedures to support the company Sales Process
- To improve and ensure quality of all proposals and tenders – appearance and content
- To support internal and external customers and manage their needs to ensure that customer satisfaction and business objectives are met
- To encourage and motivate the bid team through entrenching the common sales process.
- To support and promote continuous improvements to the sales process to ensure that the process remains relevant to the local LBU and aligned to the international organisation.
- To understand, support and uphold the corporate values and ideals.
- To focus on cost efficiency of every sales opportunity by ensuring cost effective use of resources by the Bid Management team.
- To manage day-to-day bid operations to ensure optimal resource usage
- Manage and support the deal approval process
- Manage and lead the Opportunity Review process.
