My client is based in Melrose, Johannesburg and is looking for an SSRS Developer to join their IT team. This is an established and growing company.

The primary responsibilities of this position are:

Create and Manage reports for company products.

Reporting

• Creation and maintenance of a standard reporting templates and frameworks.
• Analysis, Design and Development of reports for all lines of business.
• Development of SQL queries that support the reports.
• Assisting business to test reports and ensuring sign-off is collected
• Maintenance of the reporting test environment
• Assisting the development team to integrate reports into the systems they are developing.
• Ensure all reports are stored in a version controlled environment (SVN)
• Creates proper documentation where required.
• Researching new reporting technologies

Support

This person will be required to train the helpdesk staff and maintain the help desk operating manuals for all Reporting purposes.

When the helpdesk is unable to resolve and issue, this person will be required to assist them in the role of second line support.
