The successful candidates for the vacant positions will be responsible for:

Providing technical support in administering, evaluating, designing, implementing and supporting various enterprise technologies which include:

• Troubleshooting and resolving system and related service problems
• Providing specialist support for network software and back office applications
• Developing new services and improving existing services through project work
• Liaising with other second level support staff and Helpdesk staff

Minimum qualification for all positions:

• Proven competence and experience in Linux or Windows desktop and server administration
• Proven understanding of network principles including the TCP/IP networking, DNS, DHCP
• Proven understanding of Project Management principles with some project management experience.
• Proven competence in administering Active Directory or equivalent.

Requirements:

Systems Engineer – Web hosting and development:

• Proven competence in one of the following: Apache, PHP, HTML, .Net, C#, Drupal, DSpace, SOAP, PEAR, Ajax, and Organic SEO (Search Engine Optimization)
• Proven competence with an RDMS e.g.: MS SQL, MySQL, PostGress, etc.
• Proven experience with Internet technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript and XML (particularly XSLT, XPath and RDF)
• Experience with SharePoint and CMS’s  would be an advantage
