Procurement Manager – Sandton – R350k to R400k
Our client is looking for a Procurement manager responsible for control and management of the entire procurement function.
Develop strategies for completing annual goals and objectives
Ensure maximum operational efficient acquisition and maintenance of company required material, services and equipment according to policies and procedures
Develop, implement and maintain internal Procurement processes and Sox procedures.
Facilitate the adoption of BBBEE
Evaluate supplier products and services
Ensure all purchasing activities are fulfilled optimally according to the relevant policies and procedures
Ensure all creditors invoices are reconciled
Verify the reconciliation of all invoices
Liaise with internal as well as external auditors to provide accurate information
Establish sound internal client relationships
Directly and indirectly carries out management responsibilities
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent is required
- Minimum 5 years relevant work experience
- Must have experience having direct reports
- Must have SOX procedures and BBBEE experience
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Able to establish and maintain relationships with people at all levels
- PC Literacy: Intermediate skills on Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook is essential
