Experience required:
- Good networking experience (CCN Recommended)
- Experience in Firewall/Proxy/AV/IPS technologies advantageous: Check Point, Cisco, Juniper, Tipping Point, Bluecoat, WebSense
The position and primary objectives for this position are:
- Deploying and configuring the SIEM solution in clients environment’s
- Ensuring log integration to the SIEM application by doing various checks to confirm system is operating as expected
- Ensure daily health monitoring checks are done for all clients environments; this includes device health and availability
- Proactively act on alerts in client’s environment – this is done by informing customer of anomaly in environment and driving issues to completion.
- Providing ad-hoc reporting for clients based on specific requirements
- Performing monthly backups of various Firewall, Proxy, IPS environments
- Liaising with vendors to resolve any inconsistencies, issues experienced
- Continuous development of the solution and suggesting/driving improvements in the service offering
- Basic First Line troubleshooting of various Firewall/Proxy/IPS technologies (Check Point, Cisco, Juniper, FortiGate, Blue Coat, WebSense, Tipping Point, McAfee) where issues are experienced with integration into the SIEM technology.
