Our client is looking for a Continuous Improvement Specialist Consultant. Responsible for implementing operational improvement projects, primarily focused on delivering improved delivery, cost optimisation and quality, through the implementation of streamlined processes and effective management controls.
- Assist with the formulation and execution of strategic projects by providing the necessary operational expertise and best practice
- Design, explanation and implementation of the Management Controls (MOS)
- Capture, critique, analysis, re-design and implementation of processes
- Improve operational effectiveness
- Coaching of frontline management to improve performance, implement tools, and manage change within their teams
- Effective application of project management tools, including planning, execution (assign, follow-up) and evaluation of progress, ensuring optimal use of project resources, to assist in delivering projects on time, on specification and within budget
- Managing the relationships with the client, Problem solving, Analysis and change management
- Capture (workshops, observations, interviews)
- Analysis (Visio, Excel - Quantitative and Qualitative)
- Presentation (PowerPoint, Brown Papers, Graphs)
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor degree minimum.
- Six Sigma certification/ experience an added advantage
- Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, Brown Papers, Graphs
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Experience in Life and Short-Term Insurance an advantage
- Lean experience/exposure an added advantage
- Management experience an added advantage
