Our client is looking for a Continuous Improvement Specialist Consultant. Responsible for implementing operational improvement projects, primarily focused on delivering improved delivery, cost optimisation and quality, through the implementation of streamlined processes and effective management controls.

• Assist with the formulation and execution of strategic projects by providing the necessary operational expertise and best practice
• Design, explanation and implementation of the Management Controls (MOS)
• Capture, critique, analysis, re-design and implementation of processes
• Improve operational effectiveness
• Coaching of frontline management to improve performance, implement tools, and manage change within their teams
• Effective application of project management tools, including planning, execution (assign, follow-up) and evaluation of progress, ensuring optimal use of project resources, to assist in delivering projects on time, on specification and within budget
• Managing the relationships with the client, Problem solving, Analysis and change management
• Capture (workshops, observations, interviews)
• Analysis (Visio, Excel - Quantitative and Qualitative)
• Presentation (PowerPoint, Brown Papers, Graphs)       

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor degree minimum.
• Six Sigma certification/ experience an added advantage
• Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, Brown Papers, Graphs
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
• Experience in Life and Short-Term Insurance an advantage
• Lean experience/exposure an added advantage
• Management experience an added advantage
