Minimum Requirements:
- BSc Engineering degree or equivalent.
- Minimum 4-5 years Systems Engineering Experience
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years Technical Management experience
Recommended Competencies/Skills:
- System engineering in a military / commercial environment in accordance with accepted international standards
- System level experience in IFF, Data-link and Control Systems will be an advantage
- Ability to work across hardware, software, firmware and mechanical domains
- Lead integrated product development teams
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work independently
- Project management qualification and experience will be an advantage
Key responsibilities include inter alia:
- Responsible for primary technical customer interface
- Lead and co-ordinate team of technical resources across domains
- Identifying use cases, requirements and stakeholders
- Defining system architectures, interfaces and functions
- Investigate and trade-off design options, performance, timescales, cost and risks
- Responsible for system integration and qualification
- Co-ordinate design and document reviews
- Continuous improvement of system engineering and development processes
