Responsibilities include:

• Configure, manage and monitor BI front-end application services
• Support System Analysts and Architectural vision
• System documentation
• Performance tuning
• Batch job Scheduling
• Resource management
• Automation
• Problem identification and resolution skills
• Occasional development
• Constantly research and improve knowledge on the following:
• BI trends
• New Products
• Security issues
• New hardware

Skills and Experience

• BSc Computer Science or relevant degree
• Cognos, Qlickview or MS SQL Server certification
• Minimum 6 years Systems Administration experience
• At least 5 years experience in the following:  
• Cognos
• Qlickview
• MS SQL Server
• Oracle
• IT infrastructure experience
• Effective knowledge transfer skills
• Ability to translate developer / user requirements into configurations
