Job description:

As a Security Specialist, you will understand a customer’s key security and privacy requirements and use them to architect and design secure business solutions.

 

The Security Architect is responsible for performing the following tasks:

• Design application security to meet customer requirements.
• Identify a security component that captures the customer’s business requirement for existing and future directions.
• Design a solution that scales to the customer’s needs by understanding
• The market in terms of PKI (including Certificate Authorities, Registration Authorities, etc.)
• The cryptographic hardware and software alternatives in the market
• The risks associated with design alternatives
• Ensure a design that supports and end-to-end solution by being familiar with other security mechanisms and processes.
• Assess the risk of intrusion from internal/external threats and points of failure, and identify ways to mitigate them.
• Stay current with development in security software, encryption/decryption, biometrics, hacking techniques, viruses and worms.
• Build and monitor notification traps, and implement damage control systems when the main system is breached.
