My client is based in Richard's Bay (KZN) and has created a new role for an IT Security and Compliance Specialist. This person will provide services to divisions in Richard's Bay, Phalaborwa as well as their Head Office in Midrand. The position will however be based in Richards Bay. This person will report to the Group ICT Manager who is based at Head Office. The position will be based in Richards Bay.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
To effectively implement and/or co-ordinate ICT security strategy and programs, audit findings, risks and disaster recovery plan within the ICT Division to ensure compliance to relevant ICT laws and company policies, strategies. etc

QUALIFICATION(S) & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Qualification(s) Minimum:
 BCom/BSc Computer Science
Experience:
 At least five years experience in ICT industry of which three in ICT security and compliance field.

 Ensure effective management of ICT security
 Ensure that ICT comply with policies and legislations
 Maintain and develop ICT disaster recovery
 Monitor implementation of ICT risks action list
 Ensure effective implementation of ICT Audit findings
