Sales Administrator
Location: Gauteng
Type: Permanent
Salary: R10000 per month (Negotiable on qualifications and experience)
Territory:
- Product set: Softline Accpac and Third Party Products, Sage ERP X3, Company developed solutions, Microsoft Software, Sales Contracts and Support Agreements
- Vertical Solutions: Those verticals assigned to a specific Sales Professionals and assist other administrators with their vertical markets, where required.
- Geographic territories: Certain geographies have been assigned to you
Responsibilities:
- Support and actively assist Sales Professionals to achieve their assigned sales targets through a structured sales engagement process.
- Assist Sales Professionals with administrative tasks to ensure customer facing and revenue generating opportunities are maximised.
- Effectively plan and manage your time to maximise revenue generating activities.
- Actively prospect for new customers in the assigned industry and territory.
- Understand simple customer requirements and have sufficient product knowledge to engage customers through an indirect sales process.
- Prepare and submit proposals to customers.
- Prosecute sales opportunities with the view of closing opportunities and uncovering additional opportunities.
- Accurately complete administrative tasks that include customer’s orders, change in business partner status and contract preparation.
- Support and actively assist Sales Professionals with tender submissions.

Maintain relationships with assigned Alliance Partners and support Alliance Partner in marketing and sales activities.
- Assign leads to Alliance Partners and track sales engagement
- Support Alliance Partners with administrative and sales queries
- Assist in the preparation and submission of sales proposals for Alliance Partners
- Leverage marketing initiatives in your territory and industry.
- Assist with requested tasks and outbound calling for marketing campaigns
- Accurately maintain an up-to-date record of customer and opportunity details in the assigned segment and territory on the prescribed systems.
- Accurately maintain and submit sales forecasts using the prescribed systems.
- Participate as a member of the Company team to contribute to our overall success.
- Fully understand Company’s Standard Terms and Conditions to ensure all opportunities comply with them.
- Timeously submit commission claims as agreed or as prescribed in the sales process.
- Additional responsibilities as may be determined from time to time and that may be described in the attached document.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Knowledge of marketing and sales within the professional services environment.
- Working knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning and Logistics
- Understanding of Project Management within a consulting environment.
- Above average written and verbal communication at all levels of management and staff is essential.
Other Required Competencies and Skills:
- Strong administration skills
- Must be a team player
- Strategic thinker with the ability to work under pressure.
- Prepared to work for longer than normal working hours as situations may demand.
