Project Manager – Sandton - R480 to R550k

Looking for a senior Project manager to manage projects for a dynamic large corporate company, following consistent standard s of project management and manage entire project life cycle.

• Identifies and resolves project-related issues and maintains the project schedule.
• Primary project interface to stakeholders and senior management
• Identifies, reports, and manages risks.
• Tracks and controls project execution
• Troubleshoots problems and issues
• Recommends and initiates corrective action.
• Ensures that each project follows standard project management processes

Qualifications and experience

• Degree in IT or Diploma with PM qualification (PMP or CAPM)
• Work experience either as a member of a software development team
• 4 to 5 years experience using effective processes to manage projects
• Strong critical and analytical skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Understanding of product and software development lifecycles and project lifecycle models
• Understanding of modern information systems including: operating systems, network and Internet technologies, database systems, web services, open standards, and information security.
• MS Office applications, MS Project, MS Visio

Salary is negotiable on experience
