Our large blue chip client is looking for a Management Consultant / Project Manager/ operational improvement / Implementation in their Continuous Improvement (CI) department.
You will be responsible for Implementing of operational improvement projects.
Responsible for overseeing project teams of CI Consultants to deliver operational improvement projects on time, accordingly to specification, and within the project budget.
Delivering improved delivery, cost optimisation and quality, through the implementation of streamlined processes and effective management controls.
Improve operational effectiveness
Continuous improvement in Process planning, solutions and implementation
Project planning, execution (assign, follow-up) and evaluation of progress
Effective application of project management tools
Drive the formulation and execution of strategic projects, including the provision of the necessary operational expertise and best practice
Design, explanation, training and implementation of the Management Controls (MOS)
Capture, critique, analysis, re-design and implementation of processes
Coaching of frontline management to improve performance, implement tools, and manage change within their teams.
Stakeholder Management, Problem solving, Analysis and Change Management
Qualifications and experience
Honours degree minimum
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification an added advantage
3 to 5 years’ experience in a management consulting/ operational improvement role
At least 4 years Project Management experience
Experience in Process analysis and improvement
Exposure to process controls and management controls
Coaching and leadership roles
Experience in Banking and or Life / Short-Term Insurance an advantage
Six Sigma / Lean
