PURPOSE OF THE JOB:-

To implement and develop business processes and requirements in the Planning system; and to provide planning information and support to the business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:-

• Design and development of planning systems to support business needs
• Ensure that scheduled process tasks are performed timeously
• Communication to users regarding system changes and enhancements
• Testing and implementation of system changes and enhancements
• Training manual development and maintenance
• Facilitation of training workshops
• Provide support to users

 JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS:-

• Business degree with Analytical / Commercial subjects
• Above average computer literacy: MS Office Pro, MS Project, Excel, Access
• Minimum 3 year systems analyst experience
• Experience of working on a Planning Tool (e.g. Enterprise Planning from JDA) will be highly advantageous
• Retail experience will be an advantage
• Programming experience or knowledge thereof would be an advantage
• Competencies required: Detail orientation; Decision making; Building and maintaining relationships; Problem Assessment; Resourcefulness and Presentation/Facilitation skills
