Our Client a Financial Institution is looking for an Experienced IT Specialist / Software Programmer experienced and qualified in Developing PHP & SQL.

Qualifications & skills:

• 2 -5 + years hands-on experience
• Programming Development in PHP & SQL Development
• Web development in HTML, PHP, JQuery, CSS Styling, and JavaScript
• Microsoft SQL Server 2000 onwards
• Visual Basic 6, C#, NET Library 2.0 onwards, ASP.NET, Crystal Reports – Advantageous
• Excellent knowledge of Postgres database administration
• Operational experience with strong understanding of database structures, theories, principals and practices
• TCP/IP networking and data communication protocols
• Understanding of Apache webserver environment

Additional Requirements:

• Familiar with good software development practices, processes, and procedures
• Interest and up to speed on latest Web Technologies
• Good communications skills – both written and verbal
• Incumbent will need to be able to fit into a dynamic, fast-paced, and flexible environment
• Must be highly professional and a team player
• Self-driven and show initiative
• A further advantage would be knowledge and experience in ERP and/or financial switching system design
