Our Client a leading Johannesburg based Logistics Company is looking for a SQL Database Administrator to join their growing team. The ideal candidate must have knowledge and understanding of SQL programming and optimisation of views, triggers and stored procedures as well as physical database design.

Experience and skills required:

• Relevant Degree or Diploma in IT
• Microsoft Certified Database Administrator
• SQL Server 2000/ 2005/ 2008
• T-SQL development experience
• AT least 3 years experience working on large databases
• Performance tuning
• Mirroring
• Clustering
• Design and management of SQL Server backups and restores
• SSRS
• SSIS
• Database design and administration functions
• Excellent communication skills
