IT Sales Executive

The incumbent will be responsible for the sale of ISP solutions, cold calling and generating new business opportunities within existing and new accounts.  The focus is new business development.

 
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Generate leads through cold calling
  • Maintain accurate forecast and activity lists/reports
  • Achieve sales/revenue targets and be commercially aware
  • Ensure related administration processes are completed accurately and timeously
  • Responsible for product information and services to the client and resolve queries efficiently
  • Present IT proposals to the customer, negotiate commercial terms and close the sale
  • Foster relationship building with internal and external clients
 
 
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in selling Business related Internet Products including Internet access types, hosted exchange, VPN, multi-sites, email and leased lines
  • Proven ability to consistently deliver sales targets in an ISP environment
  • Strong negotiation and account management skills
  • Proven track record in closing large, solution value contracts
  • Experience in tender responses and record of presenting proposals
  • Must have in-depth knowledge of the ISP industry
  • Matric, valid driver’s license and own vehicle is essential
