Our client in the retail sector is currently looking for a Data Analyst. This person will be responsible for data analysis and decision support in the credit and call centre operations area.

Key performance areas are monitoring of real time and historic data to identify issues trends, providing analysis and decision support to operations and corporate management and working closely with business intelligence team in order to improve reporting and decision support tools. This role will report to the head of data and analytics.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:-

• Tertiary education, diploma or degree in related field
• 2 years experience in related field

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:-

• Monitor and analyse operational data and reports to identify business issues and opportunities
• Provide effective and timely feedback to operational management regarding issues and opportunities, feedback includes highlighting of issues and opportunities, as well as providing suggestions on how to effectively address them
• Follow up on actions to ensure successful implementation
• Weekly feedback to corporate management regarding operations performance
• Working with business intelligence team in order to enhance the decision support and tools
• Involvement include:- improvement to existing reports, designing of new reports and tools, dealing with end user queries regarding reports, end user training, effective planning and prioritising of work
• Effective planning and prioritising of work
