My Client, a Global Professional Services firm, are looking for a Head of IT in their Corporate environment providing infrastructure and operational services to the Group of companies. Through a shared vision and best practices, providing efficient and sustainable solutions to meet internal customer business needs.
As the Head of IT, End User Support Manager, for Africa & the Middle East, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing technology support for the office environments across mutliple operating companies at various sites within a geographic region and will:
- Provide guidance for technical solutions that address business and office needs
- Proactively engage business leaders across all operating companie to ensure infrastructure technology needs, services and support are delivered in a timely manner and in accordance with agreed upon metrics
- Manage staff performance and the quality of service provided
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in a technology related discipline; or
- a combination of work experience, education and training equivalent to a four-year college degree in a related work experience;
- demonstrable related work experience;
- demonstrable man-management experience;
- knowledge of company desktop operating systems and software;
- knowledge of company standard computer hardware;
- superior customer services skills;
- ability to lead and work within a team environment;
- ability to independently plan, organise and prioritise one's own activities;
- ability to express ideas clearly in both written and oral communications;
- ability to coach and develop subordinates to encourage high performance;
- Microsoft or other certifications preferred (i.e. MCDST, MCP, MCSE);
- ability to work in a typical office environment;
- ability to lift and move desktop and other related hardware.
Frequent, local travel may be required depending on location. Occasional distant travel may also be required as well as occasional evening and weekend work.
