We are urgently looking for an  IT Engineer to meet the following requirements for our business

We are based in Northern parts of Johannesburg and currently recruiting for a  2nd Tier Support engineer, the role is client focused, the ideal candidate will need to be totally committed, presentable, well-spoken and have the drive to go the extra mile. The candidate should have a valid driver’s license and his own reliable vehicle. Technical Skills will be tested during interview.

Minimum requirements:

• Matric certificate

• National Diploma IT, A+/N+ equivalent

• 5 years working experience in desktop and server environment

Major responsibilities:

• Take and respond to calls within the agreed SLA’s

• New Server and Desktop Installations
(Small Business Server & Exchange Experience requirement)

• General IT related support, including but not limited to; printers, networking, email, int ernet connectivity, Virtualisation, VPN’s and User Mobility..

• Support our Client base “face to face” as well as remote assistance

• New Network installations, patching and terminations.

• To work closely with immediate management.

• Investigation / Research / regular study of the latest trends / developments in the industry to identify key actions to improve effectiveness, usability and functionality of our clients IT infrastructure
