The focus of this position   wil be the implementation and support of new and existing HansaWorld ERP installations. The individual should be well versed in all the systems requirements of all IT projects under his/her control.

We are looking for a developer with 10 years plus experience in accounting / ERP package arena. The language is a custom written parser with C like syntax .

Responsibilities:

• Customer interaction and development of detailed specifications
• Development of solutions to satisfy customer requirements
• Delegate responsibility to relevant resources
• To ensure timely and effective communication between the project team, the project stakeholders and the business users
• Process ad hoc requests and maintain good interdepartmental relations
• Understand and apply service level agreements where applicable
• Assist with configuration management and system documentation
• Assist with documentation of training manuals and business processes and user training. 

 Requirements:

• Degree /  Diploma Information Technology or several years experience in a mainframe programming environment
• Project Management skills and knowledge of Project Management process methodology.
• Good background knowledge of IT Systems (networks, desktop operating systems, applications, etc)
• Background in systems design, development, implementation an advantage
• Proven hand on experience of managing projects - experience of managing projects in an IT environment an advantage
• A solid, self-directed individual who can excel both independently and as a team player in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Strong problem solving abilities for new system implementation as well as general issues arising from existing systems
• The ability to deliver on multiple projects
