The Credit Systems development and support team has a vacancy for a Senior Project Manager. The candidate will play a key role in helping the Financial Services achieve its strategic goals by managing and implementing medium to large sized Credit projects. Requirements:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification
  • In-depth knowledge and experience of the Systems Development Life Cycle
  • Understanding and application of testing processes
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong organisational and planning skills
  • Three to five years experience of Project Management within a large corporate environment
  • The ability to build strong relationships at all levels in both IT and business
  • Sound business acumen with a strong customer service focus
  • High level of influence and credibility
  • Strategic thinking ability, with an analytical approach to problem solving
  • Strong communication, collaboration and team building skills
  • To be self-motivated and able to work under pressure to tight deadlines

 

Experience and/or knowledge that will be to your advantage:

  • Experience within both Mainframe and client server application environments
  • Experience with the Vision21 or VisionPLUS Account Processing systems
  • Experience with the TRIAD Account Management system
  • A proven track record of project delivery

  • Communicate with and manage expectations of business sponsors and key stakeholders
  • Work across functional teams and technical platforms
