We have an excellent opportunity for a Data analyst with primary objective to manage, investigate, and resolve data quality issues. SAS and SQL experience essential.

• Identify and ensure the resolution of data quality issues, such as uniqueness, integrity, accuracy, consistency, and completeness in a cost-effective and timely fashion.
• Create and implement a data management strategy
• Ensure that new systems and/or applications adhere to existing data management practices, policies, and procedures.
• Perform data profiling and generate data quality statistics.
• Devise, coordinate, and conduct mass data-cleansing initiatives
• Identify causes of poor data quality, implement solutions and communicate findings

Qualification and experience

• IT degree or Diploma
• Working technical knowledge of data management concepts and methodology
• Commercial awareness
• 3 years of data management experience
• Strong understanding of data entry/update best practices
• Familiarity with database concepts
• SAS and SQL essential

Salary is negotiable on experience
