United States firm, opening a branch office in Cape Town, South Africa, is seeking an experienced Windows C++ programmer to augment our staff. Applicants must have an incredibly strong background with C++ on the Microsoft Visual Studio platform, with special emphasis on GUI design and implementation, low-level work with Win32 API functions, socket communication, and driver development. Candidates should be well versed in ATL, MFC, WTL, and other common frameworks. Kernel-mode driver development knowledge is highly desirable. Assembly language, MySQL, PERL, and PHP experience are also an additional plus, but are not a requirement. Applicants should have at least 3 years of solid C++ programming experience to be considered for the position.
