IT Support Technician - Call Centre:

Our client in the call centre industry is currently looking IT Support Technician.

 

Purpose of the Job:-

  • Maintain efficient functioning of the contact centre telephony and computer systems
  • Provide helpdesk services for both hardware and software
  • Contribute to the efficient operation of the contact centre as required

 

Qualifications & Experience:-

  • Formal qualification/ Diploma in IT Technical Support, software development and or system/ network administration is beneficial A+ & N+ or equivalent at minimum
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a similiar environment
  • Experience with or knowledge of database structures such as Oracle, Access, SQL Server, MYSQL or similar database server environments
  • Experience with standard infrastructure servers such as Proxy, AD, DNS, ISS
  • Experience in set-up and maintenance of telephony equipment, networks, servers, desktop, lap-top and other hardware
  • Experience with or knowledge of application development languages such as PHP, ASP, HTML, C++, Visual Basic, .Net or any contact centre tools
  • Understanding or ability to develop an understanding of customer applications and customer requirements
  • Expert skill in the use of MS Office products
  • Familiarity with internet networking technologies
  • Demonstrated experience with LINUX and or other open source environments
