IT Support Technician - Call Centre:
Our client in the call centre industry is currently looking IT Support Technician.
Purpose of the Job:-
- Maintain efficient functioning of the contact centre telephony and computer systems
- Provide helpdesk services for both hardware and software
- Contribute to the efficient operation of the contact centre as required
Qualifications & Experience:-
- Formal qualification/ Diploma in IT Technical Support, software development and or system/ network administration is beneficial A+ & N+ or equivalent at minimum
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a similiar environment
- Experience with or knowledge of database structures such as Oracle, Access, SQL Server, MYSQL or similar database server environments
- Experience with standard infrastructure servers such as Proxy, AD, DNS, ISS
- Experience in set-up and maintenance of telephony equipment, networks, servers, desktop, lap-top and other hardware
- Experience with or knowledge of application development languages such as PHP, ASP, HTML, C++, Visual Basic, .Net or any contact centre tools
- Understanding or ability to develop an understanding of customer applications and customer requirements
- Expert skill in the use of MS Office products
- Familiarity with internet networking technologies
- Demonstrated experience with LINUX and or other open source environments
