Our client in the retail sector is currently looking for a IT Business Analyst. The overall responsibility would be working with the business to analyse business requirements, provide high level technical explanations and business solutions to improve business operations by implementing new technologies and produce functional specifications for any new changes to technology applications.

Qualifications & Experience:-

• B.Comm Degree or other qualifications where Business Information Systems is studied
• 3 years experience as Business Analyst
• Experience in the retail environment essential
• Working knowledge of Visio and MS Project would be an advantage
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Main Areas of focus:-

• To analyse and map existing, changes to and new business processes, continually optimising and ensuring strategic process objectives are completely met
• To analyse, source, evaluate and form part of the team that implements appropriate systems for teh business
• To obtain and review business systems requirements
• To compile system design documents
• To be involved in system design and project planning sessions
• Check that systems are completed and meet specifications as required, including managing the user testing and acceptance
• To drive changes through the change control processes
• To manage and prioritise user queries to minimize risk and optimise efficiency
