Implement end to end QA process and test strategies

Facilitate execution of test cases in an effective and efficient manner
Prepare comprehensive test plans

Test scenarios and test cases covering all aspects of the business and technical specifications

Manual testing
Ensure system testing, integration testing, business/user acceptance testing has been completed Build and maintain a repository of regression test cases and load and performance tests.
Work closely with Project Managers, Business Analysts, Business Owners, Quality Assurance and Developers to co-ordinate test activities.
Enhancement of all Systems Quality Assurance testing processes and procedures

Generate and maintain defect/bug/error database
Testing resource management
 

Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree IT/ Computer Science or IT National Diploma
• Testing qualification an advantage
• 2 years experience in a Test Team Lead role
• 2 to 3 years experience in a Senior Test Analyst role
• Extensive knowledge of testing approaches and techniques.
• Implemented test strategies and test process improvements
• Basic programming, test automation, and computer architecture understanding
• Regression, usability, sanity and functional testing methods.
• Mercury test tool 

Understand Business requirements and technical specifications
Experience analyzing system defects as to root cause and provide sufficient information to business analysts and developers
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
