My client in Sandton is looking for a Business Analyst (Software Delivery Engineer) who would be responsible for the tasks in the Analysis, Testing and Implementation phase of the project as well as production support for software products deployed in the customer’s production environment. This job would entail about 60% BA duties and 40% testing duties. Must also like the technical side and be a self starter.
Business Analysis and compilation of Solution Specification
Gather business requirements from customers
Analyses and documents business processes and requirements using UML standards.
Compile Solution Specifications related to proposed solution for customer requirement.
Defines test conditions or scenarios.
Develops accurate and complete test plans.
Executes test plans.
Assist customers with implementation phase activities of supplied products in the customer’s environment e.g. software installation, configuration etc
Assist customer with systems integration testing required to obtain customer signoff for User Acceptance Testing
Understand the configuration of the customer’s production environment
Assist customer with implementation of software upgrades in the production environment
Ensure thatSLAwith customer is maintained
Establishes effective working relationship with both internal and external customers.
Effective time management.
Strong ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively and to work under pressure.
Good presentation skills.
Good understanding of Software Analysis and System Design.
Production Support shifts requires 24x7 standby and availability (usually 1 week every 6 to 8 weeks)
Matric or higher educational qualification.
Certificate for completion of Business Analyst course and/or certificate for completion of Software Test Analyst course.
